The Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze DOCG is produced in a tiny area of 107 hectares extending over the steepest hills of the Valdobbiadene township. Harvested by hand when the grapes are fully ripe, this fine and extremely pleasant sparkling wine in the dry version features an intense and luminous bouquet with notes of apple, pear, apricot and rose. It is zesty, soft and sparkling on the palate.
A light aperitif, it can also be enjoyed unaccompanied, but its sumptuousness is best expressed with desserts: wild berry trifle, chestnut mousse and Chantilly cream, tarte tatin with peaches, and mille-feuille with strawberries.
Harvested by hand once fully ripened, the grapes are then softly crushed. The free-run must is fermented at a temperature of 15°C for 15-20 days. It then undergoes the sparkling wine production process with the Charmat method at 14°C.
Store in a cool, dark place at 12-18°C.
Avoid storing in the refrigerator for long periods.
