The Cabernet Piave DOC is a wine with a typical ruby-red color with violet glints, offering a bouquet of blackberries, currants and raspberries and a trace of spice that closes with a pleasant herbaceous note. It originates in the clayey, mineral-rich soils of the Piave DOC area where the vine has been grown since pre-Roman times. The Cabernet vine variety has adapted well here, producing this fine wine that is flavorful on the palate, well structured, with soft tannins and delicate notes of cut grass.
It pairs perfectly with oven-roasted veal, a great Italian Sunday classic; it is excellent with ragù meat sauces, wild game dishes and beef ribs. The perfect wine to enjoy during a barbecue with friends!
